OCDAHK was set up by Minal Mahtani in 2014 to support, educate and act as a resource for Hongkongers suffering from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Anxiety Disorder. The non-profit runs free monthly support group meetings that are open to English-speaking adults who are struggling with OCD and AD.
In addition, it provides information on the treatment options available to sufferers in Hong Kong and overseas, including Cognitive Behavior therapists who focus on the treatment of OCD and Anxiety Disorders. One of the biggest events for OCDAHK each year is the Green Ribbon Campaign, which takes place in October to raise awareness of mental health disorders and eliminate stigma in Hong Kong.
