Portraits by Rebecca Dandridge-Walker

Rebecca Dandridge-Walker has been beating the UK lockdown blues by experimenting with portraiture. Her lockdown experience has been further restricted by waiting for a delayed hip operation. An inspirational potter and teacher from London, born deaf (not that that’s ever defeated her for a nanosecond), this is Becky’s first collection of doodle portraits and parodies and she couldn’t have chosen a more diverse bunch of subjects, some of whom you’ll instantly recognize, others you probably won’t, as they include friends and family. As prolific as she’s talented, we especially love her Bruce Lee, her Albert Einstein, her Nelson Mandela and her Mother Theresa, plus her Auntie Pat and her portrait of her teenage son Alphie!
