The series inspired goofy columns in the South China Morning Post, including her ‘3 Terrifying Short Stories‘, published in the festive edition of Post Magazine Dec 12, 2021. The columns have also spawned short stories for anthologies, including After the Storm, published by the Hong Kong Writers Circle and launched at the 2021 Hong Kong International Literary Festival and Imprint 21, launching at the 2023 Hong Kong International Literary Festival March 9. Sadie will be reading one of her contributions at the event at the FCC. In Dec 2022 Sharp Pains was longlisted for Helen Lederer‘s 2022-2023 Comedy Women in Print Prize.
