Brainstorm Film Festival

The annual Brainstorm Film Festival (BFF) provides a global platform for innovative and ingenious filmmakers to showcase their films to an audience of film buyers, broadcasters, journalists, filmmakers and film fans. Along with screenings at our spectacular rooftop cinemas, there are workshops, seminars & parties.

BFF 2020 will take place in the heart of SoHo!

BFF accepts narrative (drama/ comedy) features and shorts, factual entertainment and documentary films (max length: 30 mins). The festival is committed to showing the boldest and most innovative work: films that challenge, inspire and entertain with a broad focus on mental health issues.

COMPLETION DATE

To be eligible for BFF 2020 your film must have been completed after August 31st 2019.

SELECTION

Submissions are reviewed and selected under the following criteria:
– Quality of narrative
– Production values
– Independent nature of the production
– Original concept
– Exposé (recognizing achievement in raising political consciousness)

NOTIFICATION

BFF will notify all submitting parties on 30 Sept 2019 whether their film has been officially selected. All successful submissions will receive a Filmmaker Festival Pack that will include important info on press and publicity, accreditation, contact information, and tips on how to make the most of participating in the Festival.

SCREENINGS

Selected films MUST provide a Digital Cinema Package (DCP).
