Proverse 2022 Virtual Spring Reception!
Join our friends at Proverse Publishing for the 2022 Virtual Proverse Spring Reception on Thursday, 28 April at 7pm HKT! Sign up to Proverse’s YouTube channel to enjoy this event for free! Highlights include the Finalists of the 2021 Proverse Prize introducing their work, and the launch of four new books—Tree Crime by Melody Kemp, Reading the Qur’an by Alicia Lie, Mingled Voices 6: International Proverse Poetry Prize Anthology 2021, and Rudolph M’s full translation into Chinese of The Golden Needle: the Biography of Frederick Stewart (1836-1889) by Gillian Bickley.
Melody Kemp, Alicia Lie and Rudolph M. will introduce their work and a selection of poets published in Mingled Voices 6 will read their poems, including the prize-winners and those who received special mention. Dr Verner Bickley, MBE, will give a brief rationale for the establishment of the Proverse Prize and Dr Gillian Bickley will act as MC.

Submissions for the 2022 Proverse Prize for book-length works of fiction and 2022 Proverse Poetry Prize (Single Poems) open May 7 (HKT) and close June 30. This is an international literary and poetry contest open to writers and poets from anywhere in the world. Happy writing and good luck, Mentalists!
